Overview
Sometimes you need to know something about a specific topic or area of interest, and the best way to get the information is with our Special Focus Survey. For example:
- Safety Survey
- Diversity Survey
- Communications Survey
- Training Needs Survey
- Compensation and Benefits Survey
Approach
A Special Focus Survey can be online, on paper or a combination. Paper surveys can be group administered or mailed out and back. The important thing about a Special Focus Survey is to have a clear understanding of the information you need and a clear understanding of who can best provide it. Our survey consultants will work with you to clarify these elements and design a survey that will cost-effectively capture the information you need without imposing on your customers or employees.
Once your survey has been administered, the data is loaded into our Interactive Report Viewer (IRV™) – proprietary software package that enables you to analyze the responses quickly and easily. Additionally, your data can be analyzed by one of our consultants, and a narrative report of findings and recommendations can be written for you.
Design Process
We can use several types of questions; scaleable questions (using a 5-point Likert scale), non-scaleable questions and open-ended questions (written comments). Our tools provide numerous ways to analyze all three kinds of questions. If you choose, one of our consultants will work with you to select/write the most appropriate questions during a Survey Design Workshop, to maximize the usefulness of the information you receive from your Special Focus Survey.
