Action Plan Development

Our approach to follow-through planning and related initiatives is to build capacity within our client’s organization so that the work we do becomes integrated into the standard organizational practices of the company. This begins by reviewing the results of the survey with the appropriate leaders at each property. First clarifying how well the survey results match their own experience of their organization, we work with these leaders to help them understand how best to turn the survey results into business results. On-site we meet with the appropriate leaders to develop the most effective approach for communicating the results to their employees and for action planning.

This is not to say that there are not some company-wide standards. The best overall solutions we have seen come from a structure where the highest level of the organization is clear about desired results, the people in the middle are actively planning what it will take to achieve these results and the front line supervisors are working on how things need to operate to achieve these results. All of this involves engaging people throughout the organization in the company’s strategic initiatives. Throughout this process we work with our clients to articulate the appropriate performance enhancement methodologies and to train the people closest to the issue or opportunity identified by the survey to take the right action to achieve the right result.
